Tiers of Governance

Staveley and Copgrove villages have four tiers of governance, each of which has its own set of duties and responsibilities :

Staveley and Copgrove parishes are in the Harrogate and Knaresborough constituency of the UK Parliament with one elected Member of Parliament.  The current Member of Parliament is Andrew Jones.

County

Staveley and Copgrove parishes are in the Boroughbridge Division of North Yorkshire County Council, which has one elected Councillor.  The current Councillor is Robert Windass.

Staveley and Copgrove parishes are in the Claro ward of Harrogate Borough Council, which has one elected Councillor.  The current Councillor is Zoe Metcalfe.

Parish
