People of all ages and all backgrounds work as care professionals in North Yorkshire and NYCC want people to join their team and make a difference to people’s lives.
Although it is one of the most challenging times for the care sector, it is also the best of times to step into a care job.
There is something for everyone with many opportunities in a wide variety of roles.
All sorts of people have made this life-changing step from builders and retail workers to accountants, young graduates, parents wanting flexible but rewarding work, actors and drummers and everything in-between.
However, many more are needed.
This is why North Yorkshire has joined the national campaign to encourage people to step into the profession.
